Monticello was carefully designed and exceeds Costa Rica's building
and seismic codes. An outstanding team of professionals ensured the
maximum standards of security and comfort were met in all phases of
design and construction. Only the finest materials were used in its
construction.
On
Tuesday, September 12, 2003, we experienced a 5.0 magnitude earthquake
centered 10 miles from Monticello. Absolutely NO cracks nor damage were
found anywhere in the property. This is a testament to the quality of
the design and construction at Monticello.
Construction
began in March 2002, and is scheduled for final completion in October
2003. The architect, engineers, general contractor and sub-contractors
are all experienced professionals. They were continuously supervised
by discriminating and highly skilled professionals to ensure no "corners"
were cut at any stage of construction. The Neoclassical Mediterranean
architecture was designed by a graduate of Oxford University's School
of Art.
Massive
foundations, footers and walls were built to ensure the strength and
integrity of each unit. Each condo is separated by a double wall to
provide maximum sound insulation and privacy. We're confident you will
be impressed with the extremely high standards and quality of the design
and construction of Monticello.
Each condo
has over 3,010 square feet of construction. Elegant French and Venetian
windows, charming fireplaces, exquisite wrought iron work, plenty of
electrical connections in each room, cable TV and telephone access lines
are standard. Each unit has about 1,000 square feet of private patios/terraces,
with spectacular, unobstructed views of 2 volcanoes and the central
Valley!

Only the finest quality aggregate, materials and equipment were used
in Monticello's construction.
